Well nobody can complain about the timetable for this weekend at Brands surely? One quali. and two races all done and dusted by 4.00pm on the Saturday (fingers crossed!). Is this why we have over a 100% increase in numbers over Oulton - up from 4 to 9 and including Classic F3's a total grid of twenty one.? Maybe not the whole reason, circuit proximity for most must help but interesting to note that historic entries appear to stand at only thirteen for their two races on the same programme.
I think the main difference between Oulton and Brands is the class that we are running in. At Oulton we were with the CRC which I suspect come much further down the pecking order than CF3 who we are with at Brands. Hence the better looking timetable, but it's a good few years since I have started a race that short! But, 10 cars is almost back to BARC levels, and that has to be encouraging. Let's see if Silverstone can be even better.
