They do look nice, but I imagine running costs, mechanical repairs and (heaven forbid) bodywork/tub repairs must be a lot more than FF2000?
We ran two for a year, the only thing that made running costs high was being forced to buy spares from a single source and having to pay an enormous registration fee. They were 100% reliable, If the spares supply wasn't controlled we would have been able to repair carbon panels. The technique isn't difficult. I suspect a tub repair would not be any higher than a steel chassis repair if you have to pay someone to do it. It's difficult to compare really because no two areas of damage are the same. The engines were very lightly loaded, unlike an F3, I reckon they would have gone to the moon and back before they needed a rebuild, which of course we weren't allowed to do in BARC Renault.
